Interview: Ollie
Pets, they’re your best friend and confidant. Big or small, fluffy or a bit scruffy, it doesn’t matter, we love them all. They’re there for you unconditionally and the feeling is mutual. Our interview series celebrates this special bond between animals and hoomans. Let the awws begin.
Hooman: Audrey - yogi and designer
Doggo: Ollie, aka Ollie B aka Cheesy
Home: Hong Kong
Ollie (cream, miniature long haired dachshund) is sweet, needy, naughty, and playful. He has mastered the "puppy eyes” and he also thinks he's my master.
Ollie’s day consists of: eating, sleeping, napping, zoomies — and repeat!
Since becoming Ollie’s pawrent, my life has changed in so many ways, and for the better. He's taught me how to be a more patient, caring and understanding person.
The one thing I love most about Ollie is that he is very sweet-natured and playful. He is also the best company and knows exactly how to cheer me up when I'm sad or stressed.
Ollie relies on me for love and support, and no matter how long I’ve been away for — whether it’s five minutes for a coffee run or five days on holiday — he greets me with the same enthusiasm and excitement.
He forgives easily and never holds grudges; he does not withhold and always gives. He accepts me as I am and never judges. He’s taught me so much about love and has inspired me to approach relationships (friendships, familial, romantic) with the same level of compassion and selflessness.
